Tummy Tuck (Abdominoplasty)

This major surgical procedure is typically performed with general or local anesthesia and a sedative. During a “tummy tuck,” our board-certified plastic surgeons will remove excess skin and fat from the middle and lower abdomen and tighten the muscles of the abdominal wall. This procedure has been preferred by women who want to improve stretched skin and muscles from pregnancy, and also to reduce the appearance of a protruding abdomen.

The incision from abdominoplasty will leave a permanent scar between the hips, which can easily be concealed with a bikini. Abdominoplasty is commonly performed within approximately two to five hours, with a recovery range of around two weeks to a few months. Combined with a balanced diet and regular exercise, your tummy tuck results can last for many years. (Back to Top)

Liposculpture (Lipoplasty/Suction Lipectomy)

Liposculpture is one of the most commonly requested surgical procedures. It can sculpt and develop the shape of the body by removing unwanted fat from the abdomen, hips, buttocks, thighs, knees, upper arms, chin, cheeks and neck. Since it has become popular within the past decade, liposculpture has benefitted from additional studies and refinements of the previous technique.

Buttock Augmentation/Lift

Buttocks Augmentation/Fat Transfer

Many weight loss patients have little or no volume in the buttocks. To enhance the contour and have greater fullness we do a procedure called fat grafting or fat transfer. Fat is removed by liposuction from elsewhere on your body, appropriately prepared and then injected into your buttocks, creating fuller and shapelier buttocks. Buttock Implants

Sometimes diet and exercise will not warrant your desired results. Buttocks implants may provide a solution to those who desire enlarged or more defined behind. Cosmed provides our patients with a wide variety of implants in various shapes and sizes; in soft silicone with a naturally firm look and feel. Lower Body Lift

A lower body lift restores contour to the lower midsection of the body. Most body lift procedures combine abdominoplasty with a lift to the outer thighs and buttocks. The lower body lift removes skin and excess fat above and below the umbilicus along with the tightening of the abdominal muscles to reshape and contour the body. Where once there was sagging skin on your abdomen, lower back, waist, thighs and buttocks you will find more toned and defined contours. Ultimately the final result will provide a more natural looking, balanced and aesthetically pleasing appearance. All patient evaluations and procedures are based on each patient’s individual needs.

Upper Body Lift

Skin that is loose and hanging in the upper body area is of great concern. Whether male or female an upper body lift is a procedure to remove excess skin and restore contour to the upper back around to the sides of the chest and underarm areas. The incision for this procedure is made in the natural crease at the base of the breasts and extends onto each side and may extend across the back. Inner Thigh Lift

Mommy Makeover

One of the most wonderful and memorable experiences in a woman's life is childbirth.
